Fitting within Brick Arch

Accurate templating of brick reveals is essential. A plywood template is marked to full size and used to ensure the timber arch matches precisely.

Carved arch from a large timber, spline in segments, a hammer-headed tenon at the stile-to-arch connection—specially suited for mating curved and straight members

Hammer-headed tenons or bridle-with-dowel joints increase strength where curves meet straight members

Coping joints are used where curved rails meet stile to ensure tight, long lasting, weather‑resistant joints
